thermowell dimensions

Is there a difference between the size of the thermowell on Chambers stoves? Is there a thermowell pot that will fit in a C but not a B (or the other way around?) If I were to buy pots (on e-bay or elsewhere) do I need to know which model stove they were in originally? I have a C and have been working on the assumption that they are all the same, regardless of model.

I have relatives and friends all over the country who will be looking for me this spring and I need to give them a set of dimensions for what I am looking for. (Triple pot, single pot, double boiler and thermobaker. Not necessarily in that order)

I am getting the feeling that they are all the same, At least in my searching I have not seen a variance.
Measure your opening and tell your family that is the dimension. (and if they find two, or one that dosen't fit, well you know what to do with it!)

I believe it should say "Wearever and Shelbyville" on it. It has a very humble appearance. The double and triple pots are obvious - you could email your folks photos from ebay!

I have dismantled both B's and C's and they have all been the same dimensions. The wells had some differences with the vents, but not in dimensions.

There may be only one size Thermowell, but be careful when buying pots if they don't have the Chambers' stamp on the bottom. I posted this issue before without much response - I purchased what I was sure was a T-well pot; however, the markings on the bottom were worn off. Unfortunately, even though the pot is almost identical, the diameter is just a tad larger. The pot would fit if the Thermowell did not have the two fins. So, maybe some models don't have the fins? Who knows? If anyone is interested in this pot, let me know and we can work out a deal. I am not interested in making any money on it, so it would be cheap.
